The Crunch trade to the Firm: F joe Pavelski D Dustin Byfuglien D Shea weber For: All 9 2015 Draft Picks Prospect Nicolas Petan conFIRMed Firm trades 1st Firm 2nd Firm 3rd Mercuries, 3rd Firm 4th Firm 5th Mercuries, 5th Firm, 5th Guns, 5th Knucklers and Petan for Pavelski Byfuglein Shea Weber This deal should be looked at from the stand point of crunch posted he is leaving and in my opinion if this pool will continue past this season then that team can not be getting under value for its players if their being traded away no matter how you divided this deal up its a under payment for the players listed as most if the assets going back to the crunch are late picks If you assume that you could trade 1,2,3rd for one of those players then the next 2 guys are only getting 3,4,5,5,5,5 picks doesn't add up to me

So not to be a dick but I am asking the bog to look at this deal formally and I will leave it at that

You are 100% correct that the BOG should look at this deal. I made this move out of frustration because nobody wants to pay the price to get superstar players. I wanted to prove to myself & this league that this league is dead and that there is no real return for building a team through trading as you can't get top dollar in this league. I believe I have proved that point and as a result I will be making my decision on whether or not I am leaving this league at the end of the draft.
There is no way that a contending team with assets should not be able to pay top dollar in a 9 player league for 3 superstars who are in their prime.
Sorry to George that I had to make use of him in this scenario. I honestly thought George would make the deal that I originally countered with "Counter: your 9 picks this year + 1st & 2nd next year and the following prospects: Petan, Trouba, & Shea Theodore." That was my counter for weber, Pavelski, & byfuglien. Which I thought was pretty reasonable as its not like the firm don't have a pile more assets. And those three players would make him a top 2 contender for the next 3-5 years at least.
I don't care if George doesn't want to deal with me again as a result. It was not an attack on him. I was merely trying to prove a point about this league. If I leave I will be the 3rd or 4th GM to leave this league since its inception and I can gaurantee that the other GM's left for similar reasons.
Sorry to both George and the league. If I had made the same deal with Jason or Keith George would be asking the exact same thing.
The league can decide whether this deal is fair or not.

OK. Obviously this deal was made not for the betterment of Chris' team but more to prove a point. So coupled with the concerns of the league, the concerns of other GM's (including before this deal George) and the admission of Chris that he offloaded his picks at a discounted price to gain the attention of sleeping GM's, the league will stop this deal.
Under normal circumstances this would require proving colusion and might be followed by punishment but this situation is different and there will be NO PUNISHMENT.
Please go to the "BOG Issues" board to discuss this further.
There is a post there to get the discussion started.

Chris thank you for your honesty and hopefully you have stirred it up enough that we can get it back on the rails
