Ok so let's see about this?
One new team. This format?
Each team submits.... All from your last year roster. No call ups. Three forwards Two defenceman One goalie. The most one team can lose is three players. 3x9 = 27 man roster. This would bring the league back to ten teams. And I would let him chose five players for prospects. At the end of the draft.
Can we vote on this?

No.
I don't like how fast this has happened and how little time GMs have to replace players. If this is for the beginning of the offseason then yes. Since its less than a month till the start of the season I vote no.

This expansion is either unanimous or nothing goes through. I will not allow anyone to bully any team into an expansion if they do not want it. So no votes are even necessary. I am going to contact Mike and let him know that until we have a unanimous decision there will be no movement. Until then he can be in the waiting if another team decides to bow out.

Can we vote on this? There is more to clarify here. I assume that the new team will Draft similar to what franchise and crunch did picking just outside the lottery for the 1st draft To be fair to current teams that have been building through the draft. What about the total assets? The new team will be hand cuffed as some teams have tons of prospects draft picks etc? How many additional assets and draft picks will the new team get. Will you give the new team picks of prospects from teams as well? Is this fair? Some of the teams have been working hard to draft and trade for prospects. I hate to agree with jay but how do the teams that loose players get replacements? I am probably missing something else but i think i am in favour of this however some of these above questions need to be decided first before i vote .

I vote NO until there is a system set up for expansion that the whole league agrees to, and that there is ample warning time that an expansion is happening.
So Like I had said before if you want to let a new guy in by allowing him to draft a team from the free agent pool, and then have some draft picks at the end of the draft as proposed, then I will vote yes, but to make everyone cough up 3 players from their roster at current time, after we have roster cut from last seasons end, and drafted is not fair to any team.
NO

Further more, if you want a new body for next year, then the Expansion draft should be at seasons end, before Roster cuts are made, and before free agency/draft. This way the new Expansion team would have their 5 picks and be entered into the lottery like every other team.

There needs to be a plan that is set out to allow all teams to know what is happening. I know Mike as well he is a great guy and would be great for this pool to give you a quick example of the kinda guy.. He slides playing soft ball... Take that as you want. I vote. No till there is a clear plan and when that is set i vote yes for mike to join.
