As of today I am withdrawing from this pool. I have 2 reasons and I believe that anybody else wishing to continue in this pool to consider the following. First off, we have had one player already resign b/c Jason stole his money and would not pay him his winnings. I have asked Jason for my winnings from this pool for the last six months and have received no response. I will no longer ask for it as Jason in my mind has proven to be nothing more than a liar, thief and a cheat. Yes Jason I have caught you cheating time and again in this pool by putting players in after the deadline. Today you have done it once again as both Lundqvist and Duschene were out of your line-up when games commenced and yet I look at it tonight and see that they have miraculously made it into your starting line-up especially after you found out that Crawford is starting in place of Emery. What is the point in participating if we can't even trust the person who runs it. I find it pathetic that you do this to your friends. I expect a formal apology written not only to myself but to everyone else in this pool for your actions. In addition I expect you to hand deliver my money in an envelope (cash inside only, no checks) to my door as I will not follow you around to get it. Integrity to me is everything Jason, and you have none!

And about the picks. I was up at 5:30 to go to alixs hockey then went straight to church. Church ends at 10:30 then I made the moves by phone in my truck. Nothing I haven't done for every guy in this draft. I wanted those guys in 3 days ago but I didn't get on the comp all weekend. I did not PM it to Pat like I ask you guys to do for the hard copy so I will adjust the dates. To not include today.

I can not answer for anyone else, but I know if I miss the deadline then too bad for me! I do not do a retroactive move.

Wow This seems to be a major issue... 1. how is it even possible that you can make a change after the deadline? 2. the thing with emery, i had the flip side of the coin I made the move and took a chance that crawford was starting if i was wrong it would have costed me a blown roster move or points above all there needs to be honor and some times you miss a deadline so be it.. 3. i have said many times in these pools that the administrator needs to PM his waiver picks and changes as needed to some one else just to avoid this type of stuff.there has to be some sort of way to keep this from comming up and every year there is suspission.(perhaps for a good reason) 4. I would think after this there should be transparency with who ever is The administrator. Jay you have 10 more games played than the rest of us and I have been counting my player games and trying to maximize I would like to know if you have done this before and know if there is a way someone can check? George was way too harsh in the direct name calling I don't agree with that however your credibility is in question and any success you might be having this season is also in question. If there is outstanding money owed it should be paid ( i thought Cory was now holding the cash?) going forward there should be a penalty accoicated with the severity of the action Cheating in a hockey pool is not acceptable.

Hey Keith, don't get me involved in this scandal. I AM NOT in charge of the money, Jay is. I'm in charge of the money in the other draft.
And Jay, not ONCE did I ever ask you to put players in for me after the deadline. If you don't get your players in before the deadline, then too bad. Sorry to say it, but that's cheating.

I am sorry.
1. All monies in the JRFHL are my responsibility. 2. For those of you in 2 drafts with us, some have paid the JRFHL funds to Cory which he has passed on to me but that is only out of convenience. Please do NOT harrass Cory. Harass me! 3. When I don't have access to poolexpert I PM my moves/waiver picks to Pat. Any of you can verify this with pat. I accept PMs and even the odd text in extreme cases. I failed you in this case but this is not the norm. 4. I'm sorry 5. I am open to punishment if administered by 3 level headed GMs that have no agenda. 6. I am sorry.

This is what I was waiting for as this had to stop. As a result I will continue with this league instead leaving.

I have gotten very complacent in this draft. I have only been going on once or twice a week which is not right. I really like this draft for its the only time I get to keep in touch with Randy, Ken, George, and Chris. I will be better and work to keep this one going.

I like your idea of the three level headed people, although I am sure you would not have me being one of them, so i will simply point out the facts. This has been going on for 3 seasons. I first noticed it towards the end of the season before last when I won this pool by 20 or so points. I called Jay on it and assumed he would stop. I did not go public because it only affected me as far as I could see. The next season when I caught it again midway through the year I was up by roughly that same 20 point total again and called Jay numerous times on it off to the side again. By the time the year was over the point spread was over 100. So to what extent has this affected this year? I have no idea. There is no way of proving how many inflated points are in the totals. Last night's incident was worth over 3pts. I had to bring it out into the open this year b/c it now affects a lot more teams who are in the running. As far as I see it, there is only one thing to do Jay. That is the honorable thing of withdrawing your contention for this year. I will leave it to you and the rest of the league now to decide. I have spoken the truth.

So, The Firm gets pissed, and asks for something specifically from Jay or else. So, he gets it, and indicates he got what he wanted. But wait a minute, thinks The Firm: "I replied too quickly! I can squeeze more out of this!"
So, The Firm asks for more.
My guess is that if Jay bows out for the year, The Firm will then demand compound interest on the winnings he has failed to pick up. Then after that, his firstborn (actually, Jay might cave in quickly to that request).

I think me cam and ken should be good candidates for the 3 level headed gm's as none of us were affected or in the running this season.
