We have reached May 17th and have no potential GM's to take over the Hartford Rockets. If anybody has any suggestions PM them to me and I will put forth 2 dispersal plans to be voted on and if I get none I already have a dispersal draft planned that will once and for all end the expansion tag on the Crunch and the Franchise.

What's the draft order? Last to first?

If I get no viable solutions then I will implement (with league approval) a dispersal draft that will officially take away the "Expansion" tag away from the Franchise and the Crunch. Here is how the draft would work. It would be done online starting on June 1st with every team having 12 hours to make a pick from the last pick.
Round 1- Only expansion teams take part in. Draw to see whom picks first.
Round 2 - Only expansion teams take part in. Whichever team makes the second pick of the first round picks first in the second round.
Rounds 3 thru 6 - All teams get to pick from here on based on the final standings of the 10/11 regular season starting with the last place team all of the way to the first place team. The order would be 1 - Franchise, 2- Mecurys, 3- Snipers, 4 - Crunch, 5 - Thunderhawks, 6 - Posse, 7 - TopGuns, 8 - Clippers, 9 - Luckydogs, 10 - Knucklers, 11 - Firm
Round 7 - 1- Franchise, 2 - Crunch
Since Rockets will not be competing next year the draft order for the Rockets picks will be 6th overall in each round in the '12 draft.
Here are the Rockets 50 assets to be picked.
28 players (24 players and 4 free Free Agents)
Patrick O'Sullivan John Tavares Jeff Carter Patrice Bergeron Paul Stastny Wojtek Wolski Nicolai Zherdev Tomas Fleischmann Robbie Schremp Eric Fehr Radim Vrbata Drew Stafford Lee Stempniak Matt D'Agostini PM Bouchard Andrew Ladd Andrei Sekera Tomas Kaberle Jack Hillen Kris Russel Chris Campoli Chris Butler Semen Varlamov Brian Elliott Michael Leighton

just wondering if when players are picked if some one needs to be drooped to keep the same number of assets as you currently have so as to not artificially inflate the number of assets

I propose we go from last to first for four rounds then the two expansion teams can chose the rest only. that way it spreads out the really good players evenly?
Mock Draft 1. Jeff Carter 2. John Tavares 3. Paul Stastny 4. Patrice Bergeron 5. Radim Vrbata 6. Michael Grabner 7. Teddy Purcell 8. Drew Stafford 9. Brian Elliot 10. Jhonas Enroth 11. Artem Anisimov

I agree with the format Reagan has come up with for the dispersal draft, except I think The Franchise and the Crunch should be excluded from round 3. Their already getting the top 4 players, which is quite adequate in my mind.

I'm fine with what ever.. but I dont see the harm in giving lower teams the majority of the good players The only thing I would really like to see is that for every asset that is taken one a player must be dropped that way the total # of assets remain as they are now.

It is past june 1st did we start the draft? Obviously I would like a lower pick and since the ruling of the pool guru is not in my benefit I would like to vote against it. Since I am the only one who doesn't want the expansion teams to get 2-3 picks before me I assume that Jason's original proposal has been accepted. However I am a huge fan of Keiths stipulation about droping an asset if you acquire an asset from the rockets that way the top teams will only pick up players that are a benefit to their roster and there will be more crappy players left for the bottom teams to improve their meagre rosters. I would also like to have the draft well before july 1st so the top teams cannot simply pick up dead wood to drop on July 1. My understanding is the waiver wire and the free agency day is designed to create equality and giving the top teams a buffer will degrade equality and maintain a large gap between the haves and have nots (me). Sorry for not paying attention to the pool for the last month or more but I am back now.
