The Firm and its Associates would like to inform all league members and fans that the trade b/w The Firm and The Knucklers has been cancelled (Zetterberg, Hossa for Stastny, Horton, Varlomav). The Firm regretably had to pull the trade do to the lack of commitment and confirmation by the Knucklers. Ample time was given for the confirmation, but it was apparent that after 24 hrs of non compliance, The Knucklers were unwilling participants. The Firm is therefore launching a civil suite and will be seeking damages for stress and loss of other possible trades that may have resulted as a part of this deal. The Firm is seeking damages totaling $1,000,000 and the loss of the Knuckers 1st round picks in 2008 and 2009. It was the breaking of a verbal contract the implicaes the Knuckers. Finally, if any other league member has information regarding any interfence in this trade by any other league member without the express written consent of The Firm and it Associates, they are asked to report this violation to the Firm immediatley so that further accusations and penalties can be impossed.

The Northside Knucklers have filed a countersuit claiming the Firm asked for more after a fair deal was agreed upon. They claim there was no time frame attached to the conditions of the trade and conversely demand a 1st round pick as compensation.

I can see that clearly the (moose )knuckels were trying to get a secondary deal for one or both of the assets they were about to trade and thats why the deal took so long to confirm and the firm on a un-disclosed source(own active imagination) thought the humilitation of reporting a trade and it not be confirmed immediatly was unbefitting of a corperation of the Firm's stature(again only in his own mind) so with this seeming slap in the face the firm ,upon reciving a call from the knuckelheads (who were unable to screw anyone else) wanted to re-do the deal the firm's response(with consultation of their slimmiest layers)decided the fair action was to try and ask(extort) for more assets from the often ineberated (drunk) g.m of the knuckles.
thinks there should be swift peanalties on both side for the lack of trust exibited on both partys and would ask all members on the board to vote on the punishment
The punishment each of the offending partys be levyed the fine of a round of drinks for all members of the draft at the next meeting.
